Adelaide: "The Daily Herald" Print, February 22,1917. "Third Edition. READ !! " exhorts the top of the front wrapper, from this rant against the banking system. This edition not recorded on Trove- this published in Adelaide, and 64pp long, vs. earlier editions numbering in the vicinity of 35 pages. The publisher, The Daily Herald, is said to be "The Official Organ of the United Labor Party of South Australia" (back wrapper). Comments headed "You Should Know." on the last page state- In March, 1916, the plainclothes police investigated matters. Their attention was drawn to points in the book:- (1) Japan; (2) German development through the Chancellor's control of the private banks; (3) The injury worked on Australia by a London-controlled banking system; (4) The scheme to take over these banks- (2) to carry on the war without taxation; (b) to burst up capitalism. Stamp at head of first page for the West Australia distributors, Albert & Son, Ltd, 180 Murray St., Perth. 12mo, (2) 64pp, (2), A little faint penciling on contents page. Original purple printed wrappers, black spine, yapp covers. Wrappers a touch sunned & ruffled o/w very good condition. Item #21768
