Painting Book. Steps to Art, After Kate Greenaway.
New York: McLoughlin Brothers, 1882. Charming illustrated painting book with 12 pictures to paint. None of the pictures have been painted. The pictures to paint section of text explains, "some of the pictures in these books may be found, elegantly printed in colors, in the new "Greenaway Mother Goose" series.... The covers of these books are also intended to provide a copy for the children to work by, if the above mentioned "Mother Goose" should not be procurable".
