New York: 1882. A notice of the railway's annual board meeting, with envelope cancellation stamp marked "Poughkeepsie NY Carrier". The Carrier stamp was used to let the carrier know that the letter was addressed without a street address (this letter has no street address). The envelope was posted on April 15, 1882, arrived in Poughkeepsie on the 16th, and was carrier stamped on the 17th.
