'Sam Snatch; or, the Fashionable Bailiff'. Caricature.
London: Laurie & Whittle, 1810. A hand colored caricature of a fashionably dressed bailiff with warrant in hand, sending two young dandies running for cover as well as a coach and four whose driver whips the horses in a frenzy to escape. Not found in the British Museum Catalogue.
The heading below the illustration reads, 'Written by Mr. Lawler; and sung, with unbounded Applause, by Mr. S. Slader, in the Comic Burletta called "The Widow Flinn:" at the Surrey Theatre'.
Verse printed in 3 columns below the heading. 'G Cruickshank del 1810' printed in the etching; "Published 5th Septr 1810, by Laurie & Whittle, 53, Fleet Street, London" printed below the illustration.
