Sections 9-10 include Washington Heights the Bridge to Randall's Island; and Randall's Island east to Edgewater Road. Sections 11, 12 & 13 - Crotona Park including the Bronx Zoo & Fordham University; Jerome Park area; Van Cortlandt Park & north to the Hudson River & the Woodlaw Cemetery area. 83pp color lithograph maps, printed on both sides, each map page 22 x 16".
Oblong folio, 3/4 maroon cloth, and black pebble cloth boards, gilt title. Rubbed, bumped at corners o/w vg, with 2 tissue sub division details and map of sold lots tiped in at the appropriate plate 54/55 of section 11. The original owner of the atlas, Matthew B. Larkin appears to be one of the managers of the sale as he has signed off on both laid in plans. The developments are titled Jerome Avenue Realty Co that ownes the land between Jerome Ave and the Croton Aquaduct. The other signed insert is titled Berkeley Oval Village " A Suburban Home With in the City".This subdivision lays between Sedgwick, Billingsley Service and Phelan streets . The tissue inserts are split at middle, with some pen notations. Good + overall. Item #24083
