Tafeu! Important to Farmers & Gardeners. Advertising broadside & Handbill.

Concord, NH: Jones & Cogswell Printers, 1856. Striking large broadside printed in a variety of type fonts for a New Hampshire made garden and farm worm & insect killer and fertilizer sold by local farmer Dodge Hayward, and a handbill "Tafeu! Receipt to manufacture one cart load of Dodge Hayward's land dressing, worm and insect killer", with instructions for mixing and application of the fertilizer.

The advertisement details the wonderful benefits and price of Tafeu, promising better and quicker growing crops, ""yield one third more than any other Dressing in the world".

The bottom of the broadside with two sworn statements to the validity of Dodge Hayward (dated November 20, 1856), signed by fellow farmers: R. D. Buswell, John Fisk, Amos Sawyer, R. K. Buswell, W. B. Thompson, and John Sawyer, Jr. The second statement is signed by George Abbot, Justice of the Peace (dated Nov. 25, 1856).
