Approximately 900 mostly color postcards of California, with views throughout the state, including Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Shasta Springs, Yosemite, Pasadena, Los Angeles, Ventura, Oakland, Bakersfield, San Diego, Mendocino, Long Beach, Mt. Wilson, Lake Tahoe, Redlands, Venice, Yellowstone, and Fresno. Likely assembled by a visitor to California during the time of the Panama Pacific International Exposition of 1915.
Also holiday and themed cards, including Christmas Greetings from California, Beach greetings, Hollywood Greetings, California Missions, and real wood cards from Yosemite and the California redwoods.
Some of the cards housed in an illustrated embossed black folio album, 9 x 15", 4 or 3 per page, attached with corner holders. Most postally used, some with messages handwritten on the front of the cards. The album covers detached but present. The remainder of the cards housed in a postcard box, 7 x 16" Very good overall.
