c. 1885. Leitch spent 11 years in Sri Lanka with the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. She was co-author of "Seven Years in Ceylon" , published by the American Tract Society. In this photo, she is seated with a book under her arm, surrounded by four adorable Sri Lankan girls.
