Two maps inserted in rear pocket, 'Sketch Map of the Voyage of Prado and Torres in 1606 through the Passage between New Guinea and Australia now known as Torres Strait' (22.25 x 12.5"), and a reproduction of 'Planos de las Bahias descubiertas, el Ano de 1606, en Las Islas del Espiritu Santo y de Nueva Guinea...' for Henry Stevens, Son & Stiles (23 x 16.25").

Spine with raised emblem, chipped. 8vo, xvi, 261pp, 3 maps bound in and 2 in rear cover pocket. there are in addition the 2 original maps and one engraving mentioned above .
