London: 1802/1810. A fine engraved half portrait of Charles Bonnet, in an oval with an elaborately engraved chain surrounding the portrait, each link of which is engraved with a different species, and titled "The Chain of Nature".
Engraved by Caldwall. Sheet size, 12 3/4 x 18 1/4". Scattered fox spotting in three margins. Very good overall. Item #24901
