Two noteworthy color plates are: Dr. Hooker's Chrysobactron, "detected on Lord Auckland's Islands", and recorded in 'Flora Antarctica' (Tab. 4602); and The Elegant Water Lily, discovered in New Mexico by Dr. Wright, which provided the seeds for the water lily at Kew Gardens (Tab. 4604).
