Printed color folding map of the Panama Canal, no printed date, but with an owner's signature and date of 1918 on the front wrapper (Ken Clark, May 31 1918, Colon, Panama). The large color map features a chart of excavations made by the U.S. and the French governments at the top, plus a map of Panama below showing the location of the Canal.
The verso of map includes 11 numbered panels with information on the Cities along the Canal, the Panama Canal, the Gatun Dam, the Spillway, the Culebra Cut, the Locks and Canal Statistics, and printed b&w photographic illustrations.
18 x 24" folding as issued into 4 1/4 x 9 1/4" pictorial stiff printed green card wrappers. Splits at folds held together with archival tape. Good + overall. Item #26165
