El Prado, New Mexico: 1951. Two ALS with literary and familial chat, mailed from El Prado New Mexico, dated 2nd July and 10th December 1951, along with a photograph of Frieda. Frieda speaks of the death of William Carlos Williams, Ezra Pound; Dorothy (Brett) has had a tough time; Frieda upset about a book review and her husban'ds supposed interest in "excrement'; she does not have a copy of "Collected Poems" to give to Paquette; so many people to visit, no time to write. The 2nd letter discusses the Lawrence's going to LA to stay with the Husleys and shares Huxley's address with Paquette. She says she is not interested in first edition of books on D.H. She hopes to soon meet up with Paquette at their future LA rental. Paquette notes the meeting time at the bottom of the letter. Letters & photograph in very good condition. Item #26586
