1953-67. Ephemera. A unique collection of Baskin New Year greetings, keepsakes and a birth announcement for their son Tobias, sent to Leonard's W.W.I.I. navy buddy and his wife, Irving and Esther Levi.
The 15 pieces of ephemera are printed on a variety of papers and colors. The images draw from Baskin's work at the time, including

"For Eakins". Printed card, Gehenna Press 1967. With the envelope addressed to Mrs. A. Levi, Scarsdale NY. Ltd. 500 copies. "Thomas Eakins died fifty years ago. This anniversary has passed unnoticed… The Gehenna Press in sending to its friends good augury for the new year…" On the verso, the limitation to "Five hundred copies printed at The Gehenna Press December 1966. The portrait is newly engraved by Leonar Baskin for this keep-sake." 4 x 4 3/4".
