(Frankfurt): De Bry, (1601). An attractive copper engraved map of Bali from Theodor De Bry's "Petit Voyages", an abridgment of the first nine parts of the "Grande Voyages" published in 1594. This print is most likely from the 1601 Latin edition of the "Petits Voyages" published between 1598-1601. The island is inverted, with river systems, temples, palaces and mountains marked, although Mount Agung is not clearly delineated.
