London: John Gould, 1844. Print. A lovely pair of predominantly green, blue, yellow & black capped lorikeets in a flowering gum tree. Gould's wife Elizabeth collaborated on this print, and her composition & artistry is highly regarded. Elizabeth produced 84 plates before she died in 1841, so this is one of the limited number of her contributions to this ground breaking publication on Australian birds.
