A favorite poet of Queen Victoria and popular with the public. There is a pencil name on the top of the title page with Rome March 1868 and a later pen presentation from Wm. F. Hadden to Alfred & Hattie Scott. Small 8vo,126pp with an illustration by Richard Doyle. Original blue cloth with gilt decoration on the cover, gilt title on spine. A bright clean copy.
