London: Kensitas Cigarette Co., 1931. Ephemera. A trade card advertising Kensitas cigarettes as a solution to coughing. On the outer edge of the card are tabs designed as playing cards and suits for a bridge game, with "The Play" by Milton C. Work. Milton Cooper Work was an American authority on whist, bridge whist, auction and contract bridge. Bateman was a noted comic contributor to Punch magazine.

4 1/4 x 5 3/8" in green, red and yellow with a comical illustration of golfers in the middle of a put disturbed by the coughing. Very good condition. Item #27869
