Cadwallader Colden [1688 – 1776] was a physician, and natural scientist from Scotland eventually migrating to Philadelphia and entering politics, ultimately becoming lieutenant governor and acting Governor for the Province of New York. Content on the Iroquois tribes in the Colonial period in New York.

This is copy #9 initialed by the publisher. 3/4 red leather and marbled boards, gilt title on chambered spine.
