London: 1922. Signed by the artist in pencil at the lower right. Lovely white and pale yellow primroses with pale blue forget me nots in a pale blue vase, with the usual black background. Thorpe moved from Sydney to London just before the First World War and set up a studio on Redcliffe Sq. Here he created most of his woodcuts between 1920 and 1927.
