1943-1944. Four letters (one envelope) and 6 photographs from Krall to Nezevich that are Krall's part of the conversation introducing himself and describing the heat, the war, Bob Hope's visit, movies etc. from The Philippines and Netherlands East Indies. Two pictures of Krall one sitting in a plane that has 13 Japanese 'kills', and the other holding a Japanese flag in front of a plane wing both captioned on verso. Four photographs of native women topless and wearing beads and headdress. All photos stamped 'Passed by Army Examiner' on verso. Also includes the 'Statement of Accumulated Leave and Earnings for Calendar Year 1942' for Marcella at the Middletown Air Depot in Middletown PA where she was a junior clerk.

Letters various sizes, tan paper, manuscript, photographs 2 3/8 x 3 1/2" to 3 1/2 x 4 1/2", all very good condition. Item #29096
