English Deed certified in Melbourne, Australia re: Emily Hetherington and an indenture.

Melbourne, Australia: August 5,1854. Papers certifying that Emily Hetherington is of age and sound mind to transfer a deed, under the premises of "An Act for the abolition of fines and recoveries and for the substitution of a more simple mode of assurance" (made under King William IV) for acknowledgement (sic) of Emily the wife of Charles Hetherington who produced a certain indenture in duplicate, bearing date 28 November 1853 made between William Copping et al..."

Third page, "Deponent inquired of the said Emily Hetherinton whether she intended to give up her interest in the Estates in respect of which such acknowledgment was taken with out having any provision made for her in lieu of or in return for... Emily Hetherinton declared that she did intend to give up her interest in the said Estates..." "the premises wherein she is stated to be interested are described to be in the Parish of Twickenham in the County of MIddlesex England."
