Paris: A. Ternois, 56 rue d'Aboukir, Paris, 1915-18? 45 b&w postcards highlighted in white, illustrating W.W.I from the point of view of children. The postcards are captioned in French & numbered on the verso. The interchanges between the children speak to shortages of candles, the destroyed family clock, marching with guns, children lined up for military service, babies grown big enough for going to the war. Split backs, unused, most in sleeves. The series starts with no. 3 and goes to no. 87, with gaps. Very good condition. Item #29359
