Surgery Diploma for early Midwifery.
London: Coventry, 24 April 1828. An elegantly engraved certificate made out to Mr. Marmaduke Thompson, for attendance at one course of lectures on the "Theory & Practice of Midwifery, & on the Diseases of Women & Children," in April of 1828, signed by David D. Davis of the Royal Maternity Charity.
The Obstetrics certificate decorated with a reclining child surrounded by drapes at the top, 11 3/4 x 19" Very good overall. Item #29369
