Tokyo: Japanese Government, 1937. First printing. A pre WWII hand out to visitors printed in both Japanese & English containing full color maps of the "Fortified Zones" that are not to be sketched, photographed or surveyed under threat of "Severe Penalties". The 6 zones include Tokyo Bay, Kobe, Inland Sea, Bungo Channel, Shimonoseki and Nagasaki Districts.

A very early indication that Japan had an inkling that there was going to be a conflict.

10 x 13 3/4", blue and yellow map sections on cream paper, original fold lines, vgc. Very good condition. Item #29390
