Journey Across the Western Interior of Australia.

London: Sampson Low et al, 1875. This expedition from the telegraph line to the west coast won Warburton the distinction of being 1st to cross the continent. It was not easy going however & Warburton nearly died of starvation. He was so debilitated that much of the scientific portion of the work had to be written by others & his own journal edited by a member of the RGS. An important & interesting Western Australian exploration book. Ferguson 18187. Wantrup 201.
