1912. These mini-posters were used as advertising on letters sent through the mail. Introduced at the beginning of the 20th century, they were widely used. Approx. 2 1/8 x 2 3/4". Lithographically printed in full color by Marken-Kunst Munich 1912. "Entdeckung des Sudpols durch den norwegischen Kapitan Roald Amundsen am 16. Dez. 1911".
