This treatise discusses the history of money, gold, banking, and then discusses counterfeiting- the paper, engraving, plates, lathe work, parallel ruling, signatures, imprints, landscapes, etc. Slim 8vo, 54pp, 5pp ads, endpapers lt. foxed. Orig. red cloth blind stamped "Money" on the front board (faintly rubbed).
